Auriane Laurent won COPRI Award at the International Conference on Coastal Engineering, ICCE 2024

Auriane Laurent, Task 6 participant, won COPRI Award: Outstanding Student Abstracts at the International Conference on Coastal Engineering, ICCE 2024, held in Rome, Italy, in September 8-14, 2024.

In the award-winning project “AI-based fast computation of nonlinear wave-wave interactions,” he presented a method for reproducing the theoretical solution (numerical integral solution) of the nonlinear interference term of wind and waves using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN).
